Everybody gets stressed. It seems that trying to prevent it is inevitable. But that is not true. Stress is something YOU control, it is not a part of YOU. Stress also raises your cortisol levels which in turn leads to belly fat storage. Here are 5 tips to take control over your stress.
1. Move: Any type of movement, exercise, walking, yoga, etc. will help burn off the stress hormones
2. Breathe: Deep breaths help reset stress levels. Take 5 deep breaths now and see how you feel.
3: Bathe: Take an epsom salt bath. Espom salt has magnesium in it, Magnesium helps your body relax
4: Sleep: Lack of sleep leads to a groggy day and an increase in stress hormones. In order to help this out, get at least 8 hours of sleep per night
5: Think differently: Take control over your stress. Don’t let the small things affect you. Like I said before, you control your stress, your stress does not control you!
